New Housing Water Supply

As part of permitting a new source of public drinking water, the well is tested to ensure it can provide enough water with a suitable quality, without impacting other water users - this is called the pumping test. We have performed numerous pumping tests for developers and water systems. This photograph was taken during the pumping test at a new over-55 development in Stratham. This work was done in collaboration with Epping Well and Pump Company.

Pump House Upgrades

Many of NHs small public water supplies have infrastructure that is more than 40 years old. We can help secure funding resources, design, gain state approvals, and construct   through collaboration with experienced engineers and contractors. One example is converting a 2-well sourced pump house with a large defective pressure tank, to a more efficient and more reliable pressured variable speed booster pump system. This was located in Stratham, NH. A new 20,000-gallon storage tank was also installed. This project was completed with funding from the State Revolving Loan Fund (SRF).

golf course withdrawal permitting

Golf Course Water Supply

A permit is required when large quantities of water are planned to be pumped out of the ground. The permitting process protects not only natural conditions, such as wetland, ponds, and wildlife, but also protect other water users from being impacted. Example of such projects include working with golf courses, and with schools to permit irrigation wells. Abby has worked on permitting irrigation project several towns, including Kingston, Alton, Greenland, Portsmouth and Exeter.  Abby connects owners to highly-qualified irrigation designers and installers.

Marine Construction Permit

A permit is required prior to any construction along a shoreline. Abby has worked with Lake Life Services, a marine construction and barge company on Lake Winnipesaukee, to obtain the proper permits for a variety of projects. This photo shows a perched beach, built at the Christmas Island Condo Association on Paugus Bay in Laconia.
